Foldable wire mesh cages are box-shaped structures made of hexagonal wire mesh (corner mesh) woven from metal wire, primarily used in water conservancy projects and slope protection. The materials used are high-corrosion-resistant, high-strength low-carbon steel wire or PVC-coated steel wire, with a wire diameter ranging from 2.0-4.0mm. Surface protection includes hot-dip galvanizing, galvanized aluminum alloy coating, and PVC coating. Customization is available upon request.
This product is mechanically woven into double-twisted hexagonal wire rolls, which are then cut and folded to form the cage structure. During construction, stones are used to fill and seal the openings. During installation, staggered joints are required, and adjacent frames are secured using binding spirals. The filling stones have a particle size of 8-20cm, and exposed surfaces must be manually leveled to ensure stability.
The structure is permeable, allowing natural sedimentation to promote vegetation growth, thus contributing to soil and water conservation and ecological restoration. The coating process and double-twisted design enhance corrosion resistance, ensuring the mesh maintains its integrity even if a single wire breaks.
Folding wire mesh cages are made of hexagonal wire mesh woven from metal wire. The diameter of the metal wire used varies depending on the size of the hexagon. For hexagonal wire mesh with a metal coating, a wire diameter of 2.0mm to 4.0mm is used. For hexagonal wire mesh woven from PVC-coated metal wire, PVC (metal) wire with an outer diameter of 3.0mm to 4.0mm is used. The wire used for the outer frame edge is one gauge thicker than the wire used for the hexagonal wire mesh.
