Before the hoist cage is put into use, it must undergo a full set of inspections, just like an athlete warming up:
Structural inspection: No cracks in welds, no deformation in guardrails, no rust or perforations in the base plate.
Power test: No broken wires in the wire rope, limit switches are sensitive, and the braking system responds quickly.
Accessory confirmation: Safety hooks are intact, fall arrestors are within their expiration date, and emergency communication equipment is functional.
